Data processing for orders

When you place an order, we only collect and use your personal data to the extent that this is necessary to fulfill and process your order and to process your inquiries. The provision of the data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. Non-provision means that no contract can be concluded. The processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR and is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract with you. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. The only exceptions to this are our service partners that we need to process the contractual relationship or service providers that we use in the context of order processing. In addition to the recipients named in the respective clauses of this data protection declaration, these are, for example, recipients of the following categories: shipping service providers, payment service providers, merchandise management service providers, service providers for order processing, web hosts, IT service providers and dropshipping dealers. In all cases, we strictly observe the legal requirements. The amount of data transmission is limited to a minimum.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent that you have already given at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing that took place up until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

If the data is processed on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter e or f GDPR, you have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data for reasons that arise from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this data protection declaration. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims ( Objection according to Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR).

If your personal data is processed in order to operate direct advertising, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such advertising; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct advertising. If you object, your personal data will then no longer be used for direct advertising purposes (objection according to Art. 21 Para. 2 GDPR).

Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, those affected have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another person responsible, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses an SSL or. TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion and correction

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data at any time. You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to check this. For the duration of the examination, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
If the processing of your personal data happened/is happening unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of being deleted.
If you have lodged an objection in accordance with Art. 21 (1) GDPR, your interests and ours must be weighed up. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

3. Data collection on our website

Cookies

Some of the websites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you want (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

This data is collected on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of his website – the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.

Contact

A user can contact us via e-mail and contact form (see below in detail), message to our social network accounts, fax or telephone. We store the data transmitted to us and provided by the person concerned in order to process the request. This data is name, address, e-mail address, telephone and/or fax number, date and time of the request and a description of the request, possibly contract data if the request is made as part of an order. We use the CRM software from HubSpot, 2nd Floor 30 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland, telephone: +353 1 5187500, with whom we have concluded a contract for order data processing.

The data will not be passed on to third parties. They serve to process the contact request of the data subject.

Further information about the perception and handling of personal data from the respective third party can be found in their data protection declaration.

Contact form

Type and scope of processing

We have integrated HubSpot Forms on our website. HubSpot Forms is a service of HubSpot, Inc. and provides marketing automation software for marketing services and products, including SEO and content creation, lead management, email marketing, and web analytics.
HubSpot Forms is used to store data entered in forms, e.g. when contacting us via the contact form. The data provided can be stored in our customer relationship management system (CRM system).
In this case, your data will be passed on to the operator of HubSpot Forms, HubSpot, Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts, US.

Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data with the help of HubSpot Forms for the purpose of processing the contact request and its processing in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b. GDPR.
The use of HubSpot Forms and the integrated services is subject to our legitimate interest according to Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR, the optimization of our marketing measures and the improvement of our service quality on the website.

Storage duration

The specific storage period of the processed data cannot be influenced by us, but is determined by HubSpot, Inc. For more information, see the HubSpot Forms Privacy Policy: https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Newsletter

We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications with advertising information (hereinafter “newsletter”) only with the consent of the recipient or legal permission. If the contents of the newsletter are specifically described when registering for the newsletter, they are decisive for the consent of the user.

We use HubSpot as part of our legitimate interest in economically efficient customer communication for our newsletter and mailing. If you order the newsletter offered on our site, we will inform you in detail about what we are informing you about, which of your data is stored and what it is used for. We will not pass on your data to third parties and will only use it to send the newsletter.

We will only send you the newsletter if you have previously given us your consent to do so. You will receive an e-mail from us with a link and further information and a request for your consent. If you click on this link, you agree to receive the newsletter and advertising from us.

The basis for storage is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give us when you register for the newsletter. You can revoke this consent at any time; an informal message to us is sufficient (e.g. via contact form or e-mail or unsubscribe link in every e-mail). The legality of the data processing carried out up to that point remains unaffected by this revocation.
Since we are legally required to log your consent as part of the so-called double opt-in, your order for the newsletter, the sending of our consent email and your consent by clicking on the link will be logged and saved according to location and time as well as your IP address.

The data used by HubSpot contains a “web beacon” that sends the opening of the newsletter and/or the activation of a link contained therein by you to HubSpot. Information about your browser, your location and your IP address is transmitted to HubSpot. This information is used to optimize our approach to you.

Our newsletter provider also uses this data, but only in pseudonymous form (i.e. without enabling your identification) to analyze and optimize their own service. However, under no circumstances will your data be used to write to you.

Your data will remain stored as long as it is stored in our e-mail list, storage is still necessary for legal prosecution by us or for our other legitimate interests, or we are legally required to keep your data.

Double opt-in and logging

Registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail in which you will be asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that nobody can register with someone else’s e-mail address.

The registrations for the newsletter are logged in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with the legal requirements. This includes storing the time of registration and confirmation as well as the IP address. Changes to your stored data are also logged.

4. Analysis Tools and Advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser plug-in

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out to you however that in this case you will if applicable not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Objection against data collection

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.

You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in the Google data protection declaration: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Order processing

We have concluded an order processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

This website uses the “demographic characteristics” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the point “Objection to data collection”.

Use of Google Adwords conversion tracking

We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” on our website and, in this context, conversion tracking (evaluation of visits). Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). If you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. As a result, there is no way that cookies can be tracked through AdWords advertisers’ websites.
The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. The processing takes place on the basis of Article 6 (1) lit. f GDPR from the legitimate interest in targeted advertising and the analysis of the effect and efficiency of this advertising. You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate technical settings in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
You can also deactivate personalized advertising for you in the settings for advertising on Google. You can find instructions on how to do this at https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=de You can also deactivate the use of cookies by third parties by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative deactivation page at https: Call up https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implement the additional information on the opt-out given there.
Further information and Google’s data protection declaration can be found at: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

Facebook pixels

Our website uses the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) to measure conversion.

In this way, the behavior of site visitors can be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website, we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook data usage guidelines. This enables Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.

You will find further information on protecting your privacy in Facebook’s data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You can also disable the “Custom Audiences” remarketing feature in the Ads Settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

We endeavor to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as this is known to us, we inform the users about it.

Further information about the perception and handling of personal data from the respective third party can be found in their data protection declaration:
